~Little moments~

This morning when I was feeding my horses I thought about something. It could be applied to humans and horses.  God gives us little moments throughout life that we can choose to ignore or actually slow down and pay attention to.  Like this morning I saw a butterfly floating around me so I stopped what I was doing and watched. When I did the butterfly landed on me. If I hadn't seen that little moment I wouldn't have gotten to experience it.  I notice the same thing with my horses. They live in the moment so if I don't see what they are saying in that little moment I could miss out on something fantastic!

Well I am soo happy!  I just got a new little filly a few weeks ago, her name is Lexi Grace.  She is 6 months old and she is adorable!  I can already halter her and lead her and I am working on teaching her the Parelli seven games.  She is very smart and learns so quick that sometimes I think I am going too slow for her.  I am also learning how to be patient with her and give her time to respond.  What I learn with her also helps me with my three little brothers as that can take alot of patience as well. : )

I am new to this whole blogging thing so whoever reads this just hang with me.  I don't exactly know where to start. : )  I guess I could start by saying that our air conditioning decided to go out last night. So I am really hot right now. You don't exactly know what it means to you until it's gone I guess.
